We were engaged by CEDD to carry out FS for the possible increase in development intensity of the Yuen Long South (YLS) Stages 3 and 4 and the potential extension areas near Pak Sha Tsuen and Kiu Hing Road for comprehensive planning of YLS development, to propose road layout and related infrastructure based on the intensification options. To assess Strategic Traffic Issues at Tin Shui Wai West Interchange, Pok Oi Interchange, Shap Pat Heung Interchange, Au Tau Interchange and Tong Yan San Tsuen Interchange, and to derive Road Works Options and the associated geotechnical and environmental cum ecological impacts.
