Mannings (Asia) Consultants Ltd (MACL) was commissioned by different charities, different groups, and different organizations to support them in organizing different sorts of public events from a traffic aspect.
For the organization of the event and implementation of road closures, it is necessary to carry out Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA) for the proposed road closures with prime objectives to:
- assess the anticipated traffic implications of carrying out the proposed road closures, and recommend appropriate traffic management measures to alleviate the traffic impact of the proposed closures; and
- devise Temporary Traffic Arrangement (TTA) showing the extent and duration of the temporary closure of carriageway lanes and/or footpaths for the execution of the proposed road closures.
