We have ensured successful completion of the two Contracts, one is IS/2010/01 Construction of Riverwall at Yat Chung and Ancillary Improvement Works including a stormwater pumping station/tank (with E&M works) and series of movable flood barriers, to alleviate the immediate needs of local Tai O residents as flooding preventive measure. This contract is under an extremely tight design and tender schedule and the contract management strategy. The other one is IS/2015/01 Improvement Works at Tai O Phase 2 Stage 1, to improve the entrance plaza of Tai O with drainage mitigation measures. We managed to obtain consensus from DSD promptly for both contracts for design and maintenance works. Moreover, our public relations technique with IsDC and local stakeholders were well appreciated by DSD and CEDD with full support from local parties which can be applied to this project.
